Exclusive
New Artists Sista ‘O’ & d’Vine Praize
I’ve got an exclusive download today from a new artist: Sista ‘O’ & d’Vine Praize. Not only do they have hard names to type, they also have a new CD out called Meditation and a new single at radio, “Givin’ It Up”.
It’s “Givin’ It Up” that I get to bring you today, courtesy of Miles High Productions. It’s a smooth stand-up-and clap-your-hands-and-stomp-your-feet-and-sing-hallelujah-sort-of-song. Even though it’s not what I normally listen too, I still enjoyed it. Good song, good message. Enjoy!

Hymns Unleased!
Free music today that’s a bit different from anything I’ve ever written about before. I have a TFCMB exclusive download of “It Is Well With My Soul” by Jesse Cardenas. It’s part of a new project called Hymns Unleashed. Here’s the scoop on the song:
“A while back, I was watching a good friend of mine, Jesse Cardenas, ripping away on his guitar. I asked him if he thought he could rearrange one of the famous old hymns that had a beautiful melody and maybe ’spice it up a bit.’ One of my favorite’s is ‘It Is Well With My Soul.’”
There you have it. You are about to download an original electric guitar rendition of “It Is Well With My Soul”. I wasn’t sold when I first heard it, but after listening to it, I have to say I really like it. I love the old hymns, and I love guitars, so it kind of made sense to like it.
Anyways, without further ado, the download.

Also, if you enjoy that, you can check out official Hymns Unleashed blog for updates, and more. Enjoy!
2 Free Song Downloads from Tessa Rae Newman
One style of music you rarely see free is country. Compared to any other genre, it’s harder to find good country downloads then almost any other genre. Because of that, it’s not something I’m able to feature often on The Free Christian Music Blog. However, there are anomalies to every trend.
Today’s free downloads is one of those anomalies. I’ve had this for months, and I had actually forgotten about till just recently, when I re-discovered the songs. The artist is Tessa Rae Newman, the songs, “Momma Always Makes It Better” and “On the Wings of an Angel”, the CD, Spellbound. Check the songs out below, and also check out Tessa’s website for more information.
Free Music from Cape First Worship and Brent Anderson
Free music today from Cape First Worship and Brent Anderson, a Christian worship group who’s debut album, To Know Your Heart, hits the street on September 16, 2008.
Today, I’m pleased to present the title track to that CD as a TFCMB exclusive. You can download the free mp3, right here, right now. And, if that’s not enough, you can also pre-order To Know Your Heart over at the Devotion Music store.

Exclusive From 1000 Generations
Today, I’m honored to have free music from 1000 Generations. The band has graciously allowed me to feature two of their songs, “Prove Us Wrong” and “Not Of Our Hands”, in a The Free Christian Music Blog exclusive.
Musically, the praise and worship band lists Caedmon’s Call and David Crowder*Band among their influences, with a little tribal-inspired beat. The music is definitely good, and if you enjoy a piano-driven song, you definitely want to check them out. After all, it’s free.
I’ve upload both songs to the TFCMB MyCCM profile, where you can download both songs for free, as well as listen to them online. In addition to that, if you check out the group’s website, you can get another free, unreleased song by joining the 1000 Generations mailing list.

Belinda Jane Download Fixed
I apologize for the broken link to “Fire Falls”. Evidently the file was corrupted when I uploaded it, causing the trouble. I guess that’s what I get for not testing the link.
However:
You can now download the song from my new new MyCCM profile. To download the song, click the small arrow inside of the circle after the song title. And I tested it this time.
Free Belinda Jane Mp3, Plus Exclusive Interview
Last week I had the opportunity to interview Christian artist Belinda Jane. We talked for about an hour on music, life, and her new CD, Heart of God. I’ve posted the entire interview on MySpace and Freewebs, and posted the part pertaining to “Fire Falls” below.
“One of my favorite songs on the project… To me it’s a challenge to those who have not yet given their heart to Jesus Christ. Life is difficult for all of us, Christian or not. So the question that this song asks is ‘What will you do?’ when there seems to be no answers to your problems or when they’re no one to turn to, or even cry to?
There is such a simple answer, yet so many people just reject the obvious. I’ve talked to people who say, ‘Why would someone die for me?’ ‘I’m not sure I can believe that my mistakes can be forgiven.’ They just can’t seem to see past the flames. There are so many young people today who are hurting. They are alone in this world and the things that provide relief for them are demonic at best. I’ve seen kids cutting themselves, taking pills, drinking, using strong drugs and even turning to *** to get away from the flames that, as the song says, “Lick at your feet.”
Jesus Christ is the only one who can extinguish these fires…I am reminded of this verse, ‘For the wages of sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.’”
You can download “Fire Falls” free below. Musically, it’s reminds me of the “classic” early days of CCM. Something like Amy Grant or Michael W. Smith. As far as I know, this is the only place on the internet you can download this song free.
